*Dun, dun, dun dun, duuuun, duuuuun. Dun, dun, dun dun, duuuuuuun. Dun, dun dun, dun, duuuuuun, dun. DUN, DUN DUN, DUN, DUN!* (to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance)
Welcome!
I am very happy to announce that tomorrow at 7pm sharp, I will be graduating from high school!
YAY!
So, this is a little grad party, I guess and the regularly scheduled WWW Thursday (as it may come to be named *wink*).
It's time for the
I have some music that you can listen to in the background while reading the rest of the post : ) Go ahead click on the link....you can hardly stand to see what it is, right?!
I brought some balloons to be festive!
And you know that we need some cake! I thought cupcakes might be a bit easier....
So please, dig in and have a great time!
Now, onto WWW Thursday! First I want to check in with you....do you like this? Is it worth me doing or should I discontinue it? I think it's kind of fun to hear what others are reading, but that's just my personal opinion. I want this blog to be fun to read for you, so tell me what I can do to make it better!
Remember that you can find this meme on MizB's blog.
To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
* What are you currently reading?
* What did you recently finish reading?
* What do you think you’ll read next?
My answers this week:
Currently reading (still): Vision in White by Nora Roberts
AND...
When the Heart Cries by Cindy Woodsmall
Just finished: Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
Next read: The Last Child by John Hart
Once again, what are you guys up to?
I'm shocked that I've been able to keep up my reading as much as I have. Like I've always said, you have to be willing to make reading a priority. Otherwise, it's very easy to shove it aside and "have better things/more important things, whatever it may be, to do. So, I urge everyone to make reading a priority. I know it's hard, but some things are just that worth it *grin*
For all my followers and readers, whether you are new or old, I just want to say:
again! Each and every one of you is fabulous in your own way!!
So all that's left to say is....
Hats Off to the Graduates of the Class of 2010!!!!
WE DID IT!!!!!!!

Hannah,
ReplyDeleteI can't say it enough: CONGRATULATIONS! Graduating from high school is a big achievement, and with all your honors I'm sure you've done your family and friends proud! :D I hope tomorrow is a wonderful and memorable day for you!
As for reading, even at college I've made time for it. :) I'm an English major, so I have to read literature and such for classes (plus Bible classes, which are wonderful!). But, besides the Bible, a lot of the books we read are intense/depressing/etc. (also not including textbooks and such--mostly I mean the literature we read for English classes!), and my favorite books are definitely Christian fiction. And after starting a blog and reviewing books, I now have even more reason to keep on reading! ;)
I enjoy seeing what you've been reading, and it's fun to share! Here's my list for this week:
Currently reading: Love Finds You in Lahaina, Hawaii (I haven't started it yet, but I can't wait!)
Just finished: Love is Monumental (You've already seen the review on my blog!)
Will soon be reading: Ummm...I'm not sure yet. I have to decide which books I'll be taking with me on vacation (we leave next Friday). But I've got a great TBR stack lined up! ;)
Talk to you soon!
~Amber
Congratulations!! Woo-hoo! Hope you have an amazing weekend! (I'm reading Cheryl Wyatt's latest Steeple Hill Love Inspired!)

ReplyDeleteEnjoy every moment Miss Graduate!!!
I'm currently reading Writing Fiction for Dummies (It's GREAT!), just finished reading my 1st Harry Potter book - 3rd one Prisoner of Azkaban. (The 1st 2 were checked out.)
And soon to finish reading A Good Reason to Go
by Charlynn Johns. (I loaned it to a friend since I had too many projects going at one time so YAY - now I get it back!) I met Charlynn last year, was impressed, got to know her better this year. Now I ADORE her. Here's her site: http://sunshineafterrain.org/
Highly recommend!!
Congratulations, Hannah. You made one of the great milestones in life.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm commenting, I'll play along.
I'm currently reading "Wuthering Heights."
I recently finished "They Almost Always Come Home" by Cynthia Ruchti.
I'm not sure what I'll read next. Maybe "Vanity Fair"?
OMW! WOO HOO!!!! Congradtulations, Hannah!!!! You'll have to post TONS of pics of the whole thing, okay?
ReplyDeleteI hope you have so much fun tomorrow!!!
What I'm Reading Now: The Sheriff's Surrender
What I've Just Finished: A Love Of Her Own
What I'm Going To Read Next: Touching The Clouds (maybe)
I think WWW thrusday is a lot of fun and I really do enjoy seeing what others are "up to" with reading. LOL
Love Ya,
Ashley
Today was the big day and I nearly missed it. Congratulations on your graduation. Did you cry?
ReplyDeleteOkay I just finished reading: Courting Morrow Little by Laura Frantz (blissful sigh)
I'm having a hard time settling on something after that so I'm flitting between Troubled Waters by Rachelle McCalla (Love Inspired Suspense) and Wings of the Morning by Kathleen Morgan (Historical - Scottish). That's the one I was reading last weekend when I found out my Christian bookstore had Laura's new book so I dropped it in favour of Laura's...I know very shameful of me.
Oh wow! COngratulations on graduating!!!!!! You make me feel old but also I can really appreciate what an event it is!!! Whoo hoo!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHannah! I missed your graduation! I can't believe it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on all your accomplishments and may all the dreams floating around you come true!
Enjoy your summer, Sweetstuff!
