It is here, people!! I have been working like crazy getting this ready (well I've been working hard at least lol!!). I wish you all knew everything that was coming up, but you'll just have to wait and see what I have up my sleeve *wink*
So today, I thought instead of jumping right in on some of my interviews, we'll set the scene. Later on we'll be decorating our tree but for now, I'll let you know that we have a nice BIG tree hanging out in the corner; we're waiting for the leaves to drop.
Now keep in mind that our is not decorated yet, but it's a big tree! Anyway, the rest of the room is a comfy living room setting. There's a fireplace over there *Hannah points over to the right* A nice toasty fire will come in handy on some of these days, I have a feeling lol! There's plenty of seats, so everyone grab a seat. I'll just sit over here on this couch.
So my question for you today is:
While you're commenting, please enjoy our first surprise song!! This is the first of many, they are being chosen by me, so if you have any suggestions that you might want to see, let me know, okay? I picked this song specifically to get you pumped up! You should be getting excited for Christmas : ) I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to link to all of the songs onto Youtube instead of adding right to post.
Have fun today and I really hope to see you tomorrow too!!

Whoa love the pics I'm coming to your house for Christmas. Hahaha! ;-)
ReplyDeleteXOXO~ Renee
When I was little, I didn't understand exactly which day Christmas was. After the tree went up, I knew it was close. So every morning thereafter I'd wake with a hope that it was the right day! I'd creep down the hall and peek around the corner into the living room, hoping to see presents. I remember doing that for what seemed like a long period of time until one day, the presents were actually there! LOL . . . Love "your house" and the whole blogfest idea! Blessings, Hannah!
ReplyDeleteWhen i was little ....the first Christmas i remember was when i was 5 ...it was soo awesome...and there were presesnts !!Lots of them..
ReplyDeleteLOL. You live in a cyber mansion, Hannah. Okay my first Christmas memory is of my sister whacking me in the face with her new doll and giving me a bloody nose! I was about three, she was five and had a temper! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI can remember being about 6 years old and getting a new bike. I was really ill with tonsilitis so I was allowed to ride it a little bit inside the house. Then I had to go back to bed.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for popping by today!! I'm hard at work figuring out details for later in the month, but I definitely wanted to stop by and see you all!
ReplyDeleteSome great memories : ) Renee Ann, that is SO cute!! Seriously adorable, I can totally see that happening to a child. Lol...
Hi Pinkstuff! I don't think you've commented on here yet, but I noticed when you joined ; ) Welcome! I'm glad you remember all the presents ; )
LOL Kav!! Leave it to you to come up with that kind of memory! That made me laugh so hard! Thanks for that....
And Lindsay Ann, it's always nice to see you :) That's so fun that you got to ride it in the house!
My first Christmas memory??? I really don't know actually. Every Christmas is exactly the same in our house, so I probably just remember the tradition, you know?
Talk to you all soon!!
Hannah
Hope you're all enjoying the music too!!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember my brother always waking me up really early to go see what Santa left us. I always stayed behind him as we made our way to the living room because I was scared Santa would still be there and we would get in trouble for being up. :) I also remember my dad telling us the footprints in the snow were Santa's. We thought that was the neatest thing. lol
ReplyDeleteI don't actually remember it, but my mother has told this story often enough to sear it on my brain.
ReplyDeleteOne year when my brother and I still believed in Santa, we got up early in the middle of the night and crept downstairs to find Santa had delivered all the presents. We proceeded to open every single one of them while my parents slept upstairs.
Since I've had children, I've been afraid they'd pull a stunt like that so I put a baby gate at the top of the staircase and leave a note that says, "Wake up Mom and Dad first."
I also think my first Christmas memory was from age 5. My sister and I went to bed and were asleep. All of a sudden there was music playing. We got up and there was a Christmas tree and presents. My parents used to put the tree up on Christmas Eve after we went to bed. I've never done this...we go and cut down a tree and put it up right after Thanksgiving. Might as well enjoy it.
