Lol! Hi!

I am SO sorry that I have been gone so long. It's been really crazy here between my birthday, school "stuff", and tennis starting. So, I'm going to try harder to make it on more.

So, as you can tell from my title, I have some exciting news.

Drumroll please! *drumroll*

I am done my thesis project! That means that I have completely completed the project and handed in my thesis paper. It's HUGE! My paper is assembled in this order:

- Title Page
- Dedication
- Achknowledgments
- My Abstract
- Table of Contents
- Thesis paper
- Works Cited page
- Appendix

Now, you have to paper is 11 pages long. My appendix is at least double that I'd say. It is HUGE, to restate the said above *wink*

I feel great about it! I think it really is well done. On the flip side, I'm sad the project is done because I don't work with the kids through it anymore. BUT I am now doing an internship with one of the first grade classes and kindergarten classes everyday, so I DO get to work with them still! YAY!

Now that I've handed everything in, Mr. Streeter will bind them into books. So, once I get mine back I can take pictures and post them so you can see the final product.

Have any of you had big deadlines looming that have stuck with you? How'd it feel to get them passed in!? (I'm sure somewhat of a relief....know the feeling!)

I'll be posting another post really soon *crosses fingers* I have it all planned out. So, stay tuned! I appreciate all your patience.
Talk to you soon!

Guess what came today!?!?!

I just wanted to post a really quick post before heading to the doctors....

Guess what came today!? My KINDLE!! YAY!!!! It's beautiful! I'll post a picture of it sometime and tell you more about it/my reasons why I wanted one later. I don't have time right now : /

However, I will tell you that this was a birthday gift from my dad and Joanne. The case was a gift from my sister, Kim, and her boyfriend.

Talk to you soon!!

Newish Award!

THANK YOU LORI at her Some of My Favorite Books blog for giving me the Bliss (Happy 101) Award! This is such a cute award; I love it! So, the rules are to say 10 random things that you love and then pass it on to 10 more bloggers. Here goes:

1) my family
2) my friends
3) books/reading
4) My fave TV shows, yes they're all thrown into one thing! (This includes Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, LOST, Gilmore Girls, Castle, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, and The Amazing Race.)
5) my Blogger friends
6) our pets (Maddie, the dog, and Buster, the cat)
7) surprises!
8) finished product (this can be anything from my completed psychology essay for tomorrow to sending out my college applicantions)
9) chinese food
10) our Pilates Machine (this thing is SO awesome and a great workout, that's just an added bonus, lol!)

Okay, so those are my boring 10 things, that I could come up with on the spot, that I love. Sorry for boring you to tears! Here are the lucky nominees (I'm sorry if you already have this award, I know I'm on the late end of getting them):

1) The wonderful ladies over at the Craftie Ladies of Romance blog
2) The (other) wonderful ladies over at the Craftie Ladies of Suspense blog
3) Mrs. Haynes over at her creative Hens and Chicks blog
4) Missy over at her lovely blog, Life with Missy

6) The happy (lol!) ladies at the Steeple Hill Love Inspired blog
7) To the magnificent Lyn Cote at her blog Strong Women, Brave Stories
8) To Ramona over at her blog Ramona's Ramblings, she always has something to say!

Okay, so I know that's not 10 bloggers. If I come up with the other 2, I'll hand them out at a later time! However, there are a couple people like Lori at one of her two blogs or Mimi at her Woven by Words blog, but I know they already have the award.
Thanks again!
Until next time,

Kissing the Blarney Stone

I told you that I would do a post including a video that I shouwed the 1st graders in class one week. This is a video of people kissing the Blarney Stone, so that the kids could have a better understanding of how it actually works. It really did help! So, here it is:

Isn't that cool!? I've actually been to Ireland with my mom, sister, aunt, and grandparents. We've done a lot of traveling together. Anyway, Mom, Alicia, Donna (aunt), and I all walked (more like hiked!!) up all the stairs in Blarney Castle to get to the stone. It was really cool, but kind of scary because I had to take my glasses off : / I couldn't see a thing!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed that! Have any of you been to Ireland before and kissed the Blarney Stone? I'd LOVE to hear your stories!!
